Introduction of product:
This Chair Tester is used to test the Office Chair supports five claws,by vertical pressure to test comprehensive strength of five claws.
The motor which is used as power source is controlled by computer.Driving the Precision screw and dragging the bar to make pressure down.
Program of test:Load to 11120N (2500lb) slowly,keep one minute.uninstall;Then load to 11120N slowly again,keep one minute,record the process of test.
Base Test - Static (See Figure 7)
7.1 Applicability: The test shall be performed on all pedestal bases.
7.2 Purpose of Test: The purpose of this test is to evaluate the ability of a pedestal base to withstand excessive vertical forces.
7.4 Test Procedures
a) A force of 11,120 N (2500 lbf.) shall be applied for one (1) minute.
b) Remove the force.
c) Apply a second force of 11,120 N (2500 lbf.) for one (1) minute.
d) Remove the load.
Assessment of results:controlled by a servo motor which can maintain constant pressure when chair legs are in plastic deformation status.
The tester which is controlled by computer stops automatically when breakpoint occurs.Customers can write test program by themselves;The computer generates force - time and force - shift curve automatically.
